طسٓمٓ
ﱂ
Ta Sin Mim
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:2
تِلْكَ
ءَايَـٰتُ
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
ٱلْمُبِينِ
ﱇ
These are the verses of the Scripture that makes things clear:
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:3
لَعَلَّكَ
بَـٰخِعٌۭ
نَّفْسَكَ
أَلَّا
يَكُونُوا۟
مُؤْمِنِينَ
ﱎ
[Prophet], are you going to worry yourself to death because they will not believe?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:4
إِن
نَّشَأْ
نُنَزِّلْ
عَلَيْهِم
مِّنَ
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
ءَايَةًۭ
فَظَلَّتْ
أَعْنَـٰقُهُمْ
لَهَا
خَـٰضِعِينَ
ﱚ
If We had wished, We could have sent them down a sign from heaven, at which their necks would stay bowed in utter humility.

26:5
وَمَا
يَأْتِيهِم
مِّن
ذِكْرٍۢ
مِّنَ
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ
مُحْدَثٍ
إِلَّا
كَانُوا۟
عَنْهُ
مُعْرِضِينَ
ﱦ
Whenever they are brought a new revelation from the Lord of Mercy, they turn away:
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:6
فَقَدْ
كَذَّبُوا۟
فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ
أَنۢبَـٰٓؤُا۟
مَا
كَانُوا۟
بِهِۦ
يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
ﱯ
they deny it, but the truth of what they scorned will soon hit them.

26:7
أَوَلَمْ
يَرَوْا۟
إِلَى
ٱلْأَرْضِ
كَمْ
أَنۢبَتْنَا
فِيهَا
مِن
كُلِّ
زَوْجٍۢ
كَرِيمٍ
ﱻ
Do they not see the earth, and what noble kinds of thing We grow in it?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:8
إِنَّ
فِى
ذَٰلِكَ
لَـَٔايَةًۭ ۖ
وَمَا
كَانَ
أَكْثَرُهُم
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
ﲅ
There truly is a sign in this, though most of them do not believe:

26:9
وَإِنَّ
رَبَّكَ
لَهُوَ
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
ﲋ
your Lord alone is the Almighty, the Merciful.

26:10
وَإِذْ
نَادَىٰ
رَبُّكَ
مُوسَىٰٓ
أَنِ
ٱئْتِ
ٱلْقَوْمَ
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
ﲔ
Your Lord called to Moses: ‘Go to those wrongdoers,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:11
قَوْمَ
فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ
أَلَا
يَتَّقُونَ
ﲚ
the people of Pharaoh. Will they not take heed?’
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:12
قَالَ
رَبِّ
إِنِّىٓ
أَخَافُ
أَن
يُكَذِّبُونِ
ﲡ
Moses said, ‘My Lord, I fear they will call me a liar,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:13
وَيَضِيقُ
صَدْرِى
وَلَا
يَنطَلِقُ
لِسَانِى
فَأَرْسِلْ
إِلَىٰ
هَـٰرُونَ
ﲪ
and I will feel stressed and tongue-tied, so send Aaron too;
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:14
وَلَهُمْ
عَلَىَّ
ذَنۢبٌۭ
فَأَخَافُ
أَن
يَقْتُلُونِ
ﲱ
besides, they have a chargeagainst me, and I fear they may kill me.’
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:15
قَالَ
كَلَّا ۖ
فَٱذْهَبَا
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ ۖ
إِنَّا
مَعَكُم
مُّسْتَمِعُونَ
ﲻ
God said, ‘No [they will not]. Go, both of you, with Our signs––We shall be with you, listen-ing.

26:16
فَأْتِيَا
فِرْعَوْنَ
فَقُولَآ
إِنَّا
رَسُولُ
رَبِّ
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
ﳃ
Go, both of you, to Pharaoh and say, “We bring a message from the Lord of the Worlds:

26:17
أَنْ
أَرْسِلْ
مَعَنَا
بَنِىٓ
إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
ﳉ
let the Children of Israel leave with us.” ’
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:18
قَالَ
أَلَمْ
نُرَبِّكَ
فِينَا
وَلِيدًۭا
وَلَبِثْتَ
فِينَا
مِنْ
عُمُرِكَ
سِنِينَ
ﳔ
Pharaoh said, ‘Did we not bring you up as a child among us? Did you not stay with us for many years?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
26:19
وَفَعَلْتَ
فَعْلَتَكَ
ٱلَّتِى
فَعَلْتَ
وَأَنتَ
مِنَ
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
ﳜ
And then you committed that crime of yours: you were so ungrateful.’

26:20
قَالَ
فَعَلْتُهَآ
إِذًۭا
وَأَنَا۠
مِنَ
ٱلضَّآلِّينَ
ﱇ
Moses replied, ‘I was misguided when I did it
