55:1
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
ﱨ
It is the Lord of Mercy
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:2
عَلَّمَ
ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
ﱫ
who taught the Quran.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:3
خَلَقَ
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ
ﱮ
He created man
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:4
عَلَّمَهُ
ٱلْبَيَانَ
ﱱ
and taught him to communicate.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:5
ٱلشَّمْسُ
وَٱلْقَمَرُ
بِحُسْبَانٍۢ
ﱵ
The sun and the moon follow their calculated courses;
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:6
وَٱلنَّجْمُ
وَٱلشَّجَرُ
يَسْجُدَانِ
ﱹ
the plants and the trees submit to His designs;
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:7
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ
رَفَعَهَا
وَوَضَعَ
ٱلْمِيزَانَ
ﱾ
He has raised up the sky. He has set the balance
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:8
أَلَّا
تَطْغَوْا۟
فِى
ٱلْمِيزَانِ
ﲃ
so that you may not exceed in the balance:
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:9
وَأَقِيمُوا۟
ٱلْوَزْنَ
بِٱلْقِسْطِ
وَلَا
تُخْسِرُوا۟
ٱلْمِيزَانَ
ﲊ
weigh with justice and do not fall short in the balance.

55:10
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
وَضَعَهَا
لِلْأَنَامِ
ﲎ
He set down the Earth for His creatures,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:11
فِيهَا
فَـٰكِهَةٌۭ
وَٱلنَّخْلُ
ذَاتُ
ٱلْأَكْمَامِ
ﲔ
with its fruits, its palm trees with sheathed clusters,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:12
وَٱلْحَبُّ
ذُو
ٱلْعَصْفِ
وَٱلرَّيْحَانُ
ﲙ
its husked grain, its fragrant plants.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:13
فَبِأَىِّ
ءَالَآءِ
رَبِّكُمَا
تُكَذِّبَانِ
ﲞ
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?

55:14
خَلَقَ
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ
مِن
صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ
كَٱلْفَخَّارِ
ﲤ
He created mankind out of dried clay, like pottery,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:15
وَخَلَقَ
ٱلْجَآنَّ
مِن
مَّارِجٍۢ
مِّن
نَّارٍۢ
ﲫ
the jinn out of smokeless fire.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:16
فَبِأَىِّ
ءَالَآءِ
رَبِّكُمَا
تُكَذِّبَانِ
ﲰ
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?

55:17
رَبُّ
ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ
وَرَبُّ
ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
ﲵ
He is Lord of the two risings and Lord of the two settings.

55:18
فَبِأَىِّ
ءَالَآءِ
رَبِّكُمَا
تُكَذِّبَانِ
ﲺ
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?

55:19
مَرَجَ
ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ
يَلْتَقِيَانِ
ﱄ
He released the two bodies of [fresh and salt] water. They meet,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
55:20
بَيْنَهُمَا
بَرْزَخٌۭ
لَّا
يَبْغِيَانِ
ﱉ
yet there is a barrier between them they do not cross.
