82:1
إِذَا
ٱلسَّمَآءُ
ٱنفَطَرَتْ
ﱄ
When the sky is torn apart,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:2
وَإِذَا
ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ
ٱنتَثَرَتْ
ﱈ
when the stars are scattered,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:3
وَإِذَا
ٱلْبِحَارُ
فُجِّرَتْ
ﱌ
when the seas burst forth,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:4
وَإِذَا
ٱلْقُبُورُ
بُعْثِرَتْ
ﱐ
when graves turn inside out:
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:5
عَلِمَتْ
نَفْسٌۭ
مَّا
قَدَّمَتْ
وَأَخَّرَتْ
ﱖ
each soul will know what it has done and what it has left undone.

82:6
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ
مَا
غَرَّكَ
بِرَبِّكَ
ٱلْكَرِيمِ
ﱝ
Mankind, what has lured you away from God,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:7
ٱلَّذِى
خَلَقَكَ
فَسَوَّىٰكَ
فَعَدَلَكَ
ﱢ
your generous Lord, who created you, shaped you, proportioned you,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:8
فِىٓ
أَىِّ
صُورَةٍۢ
مَّا
شَآءَ
رَكَّبَكَ
ﱩ
in whatever form He chose?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:9
كَلَّا
بَلْ
تُكَذِّبُونَ
بِٱلدِّينِ
ﱮ
Yet you still take the Judgement to be a lie!

82:10
وَإِنَّ
عَلَيْكُمْ
لَحَـٰفِظِينَ
ﱲ
Over you stand
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:11
كِرَامًۭا
كَـٰتِبِينَ
ﱵ
watchers, noble recorders
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:12
يَعْلَمُونَ
مَا
تَفْعَلُونَ
ﱹ
who know what you do:
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:13
إِنَّ
ٱلْأَبْرَارَ
لَفِى
نَعِيمٍۢ
ﱾ
the good will live in bliss,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:14
وَإِنَّ
ٱلْفُجَّارَ
لَفِى
جَحِيمٍۢ
ﲃ
and the wicked will burn in the Fire.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:15
يَصْلَوْنَهَا
يَوْمَ
ٱلدِّينِ
ﲇ
They will enter it on the Day of Judgement
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
82:16
وَمَا
هُمْ
عَنْهَا
بِغَآئِبِينَ
ﲌ
and they will find no escape.

82:17
وَمَآ
أَدْرَىٰكَ
مَا
يَوْمُ
ٱلدِّينِ
ﲒ
What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is?

82:18
ثُمَّ
مَآ
أَدْرَىٰكَ
مَا
يَوْمُ
ٱلدِّينِ
ﲙ
Yes! What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is?

82:19
يَوْمَ
لَا
تَمْلِكُ
نَفْسٌۭ
لِّنَفْسٍۢ
شَيْـًۭٔا ۖ
وَٱلْأَمْرُ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلَّهِ
ﲤ
The Day when no soul will be able to do anything for another; on that Day, command will belong to God.
