51:1
وَٱلذَّٰرِيَـٰتِ
ذَرْوًۭا
ﲵ
By those [winds] that scatter far and wide,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:2
فَٱلْحَـٰمِلَـٰتِ
وِقْرًۭا
ﲸ
and those that are heavily laden,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:3
فَٱلْجَـٰرِيَـٰتِ
يُسْرًۭا
ﲻ
that speed freely,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:4
فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَـٰتِ
أَمْرًا
ﲾ
that distribute [rain] as ordained!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:5
إِنَّمَا
تُوعَدُونَ
لَصَادِقٌۭ
ﳂ
What you [people] are promised is true:
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:6
وَإِنَّ
ٱلدِّينَ
لَوَٰقِعٌۭ
ﳆ
the Judgement will come––
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:7
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ
ذَاتِ
ٱلْحُبُكِ
ﱄ
by the sky with its pathways,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:8
إِنَّكُمْ
لَفِى
قَوْلٍۢ
مُّخْتَلِفٍۢ
ﱉ
you differ in what you say––
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:9
يُؤْفَكُ
عَنْهُ
مَنْ
أُفِكَ
ﱎ
those who turn away from it are [truly] deceived.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:10
قُتِلَ
ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ
ﱑ
Perish the liars,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:11
ٱلَّذِينَ
هُمْ
فِى
غَمْرَةٍۢ
سَاهُونَ
ﱗ
those steeped in error and unaware!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:12
يَسْـَٔلُونَ
أَيَّانَ
يَوْمُ
ٱلدِّينِ
ﱜ
They ask, ‘When is this Judgement Day coming?’
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:13
يَوْمَ
هُمْ
عَلَى
ٱلنَّارِ
يُفْتَنُونَ
ﱢ
On a Day when they will be punished by the Fire,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:14
ذُوقُوا۟
فِتْنَتَكُمْ
هَـٰذَا
ٱلَّذِى
كُنتُم
بِهِۦ
تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
ﱪ
‘Taste the punishment! This is what you wished to hasten.’
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:15
إِنَّ
ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
فِى
جَنَّـٰتٍۢ
وَعُيُونٍ
ﱰ
The righteous will be in Gardens with [flowing] springs.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:16
ءَاخِذِينَ
مَآ
ءَاتَىٰهُمْ
رَبُّهُمْ ۚ
إِنَّهُمْ
كَانُوا۟
قَبْلَ
ذَٰلِكَ
مُحْسِنِينَ
ﱻ
They will receive their Lord’s gifts because of the good they did before:
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:17
كَانُوا۟
قَلِيلًۭا
مِّنَ
ٱلَّيْلِ
مَا
يَهْجَعُونَ
ﲂ
sleeping only little at night,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:18
وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ
هُمْ
يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
ﲆ
praying at dawn for God’s forgiveness,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:19
وَفِىٓ
أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ
حَقٌّۭ
لِّلسَّآئِلِ
وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
ﲌ
giving a rightful share of their wealth to the beggar and the deprived.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
51:20
وَفِى
ٱلْأَرْضِ
ءَايَـٰتٌۭ
لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ
ﲑ
On earth there are signs for those with sure faith––
