104:1
وَيْلٌۭ
لِّكُلِّ
هُمَزَةٍۢ
لُّمَزَةٍ
ﱖ
Woe to every fault-finding backbiter

104:2
ٱلَّذِى
جَمَعَ
مَالًۭا
وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
ﱛ
who amasses riches, counting them over,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
104:3
يَحْسَبُ
أَنَّ
مَالَهُۥٓ
أَخْلَدَهُۥ
ﱠ
thinking they will make him live for ever.

104:4
كَلَّا ۖ
لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ
فِى
ٱلْحُطَمَةِ
ﱦ
No indeed! He will be thrust into the Crusher!

104:5
وَمَآ
أَدْرَىٰكَ
مَا
ٱلْحُطَمَةُ
ﱫ
What will explain to you what the Crusher is?

104:6
نَارُ
ٱللَّهِ
ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ
ﱯ
It is God’s Fire, made to blaze,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
104:7
ٱلَّتِى
تَطَّلِعُ
عَلَى
ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ
ﱴ
which rises over people’s hearts.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
104:8
إِنَّهَا
عَلَيْهِم
مُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ
ﱸ
It closes in on them
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
104:9
فِى
عَمَدٍۢ
مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ
ﱼ
in towering columns.
