77:1
وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ
عُرْفًۭا
ﲃ
By the [winds] sent forth in swift succession,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:2
فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ
عَصْفًۭا
ﲆ
violently storming,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:3
وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ
نَشْرًۭا
ﲉ
scattering far and wide,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:4
فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ
فَرْقًۭا
ﲌ
separating forcefully,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:5
فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ
ذِكْرًا
ﲏ
delivering a reminder,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:6
عُذْرًا
أَوْ
نُذْرًا
ﲓ
as a proof or a warning:
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:7
إِنَّمَا
تُوعَدُونَ
لَوَٰقِعٌۭ
ﲗ
what you are promised will come to pass.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:8
فَإِذَا
ٱلنُّجُومُ
طُمِسَتْ
ﲛ
When the stars are dimmed
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:9
وَإِذَا
ٱلسَّمَآءُ
فُرِجَتْ
ﲟ
and the sky is torn apart,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:10
وَإِذَا
ٱلْجِبَالُ
نُسِفَتْ
ﲣ
when the mountains are turned to dust
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:11
وَإِذَا
ٱلرُّسُلُ
أُقِّتَتْ
ﲧ
and the messengers given their appointed time––
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:12
لِأَىِّ
يَوْمٍ
أُجِّلَتْ
ﲫ
for what Day has all this been set?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:13
لِيَوْمِ
ٱلْفَصْلِ
ﲮ
The Day of Decision.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:14
وَمَآ
أَدْرَىٰكَ
مَا
يَوْمُ
ٱلْفَصْلِ
ﲴ
What will explain to you what the Day of Decision is?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:15
وَيْلٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
ﲸ
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:16
أَلَمْ
نُهْلِكِ
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
ﲼ
Did We not destroy the first [of them]?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:17
ثُمَّ
نُتْبِعُهُمُ
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
ﳀ
We shall make the last follow them:
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:18
كَذَٰلِكَ
نَفْعَلُ
بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
ﳄ
this is how We deal with the guilty.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:19
وَيْلٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
ﳈ
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:20
أَلَمْ
نَخْلُقكُّم
مِّن
مَّآءٍۢ
مَّهِينٍۢ
ﱆ
Did We not make you from an underrated fluid
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:21
فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ
فِى
قَرَارٍۢ
مَّكِينٍ
ﱋ
which We housed in a safe lodging
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:22
إِلَىٰ
قَدَرٍۢ
مَّعْلُومٍۢ
ﱏ
for a determined period?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:23
فَقَدَرْنَا
فَنِعْمَ
ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ
ﱓ
We determine [it]: how excellently We determine!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:24
وَيْلٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
ﱗ
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:25
أَلَمْ
نَجْعَلِ
ٱلْأَرْضَ
كِفَاتًا
ﱜ
Did We not make the earth a home
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:26
أَحْيَآءًۭ
وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا
ﱟ
for the living and the dead?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:27
وَجَعَلْنَا
فِيهَا
رَوَٰسِىَ
شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍۢ
وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم
مَّآءًۭ
فُرَاتًۭا
ﱧ
Did We not place firm, lofty mountains on it and provide you with sweet water?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:28
وَيْلٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
ﱫ
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:29
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟
إِلَىٰ
مَا
كُنتُم
بِهِۦ
تُكَذِّبُونَ
ﱲ
They will be told, ‘Go to that which you used to deny!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:30
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟
إِلَىٰ
ظِلٍّۢ
ذِى
ثَلَـٰثِ
شُعَبٍۢ
ﱹ
Go to a shadow of smoke!’ It rises in three columns;
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:31
لَّا
ظَلِيلٍۢ
وَلَا
يُغْنِى
مِنَ
ٱللَّهَبِ
ﲀ
no shade does it give, nor relief from the flame;
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:32
إِنَّهَا
تَرْمِى
بِشَرَرٍۢ
كَٱلْقَصْرِ
ﲅ
it shoots out sparks as large as treetrunks
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:33
كَأَنَّهُۥ
جِمَـٰلَتٌۭ
صُفْرٌۭ
ﲉ
and as bright as copper.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:34
وَيْلٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
ﲍ
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:35
هَـٰذَا
يَوْمُ
لَا
يَنطِقُونَ
ﲒ
On that Day they will be speechless,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:36
وَلَا
يُؤْذَنُ
لَهُمْ
فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
ﲗ
and they will be given no chance to offer any excuses.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:37
وَيْلٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
ﲛ
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:38
هَـٰذَا
يَوْمُ
ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ
جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ
وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
ﲢ
[They will be told], ‘This is the Day of Decision: We have gathered you and earlier generations.

77:39
فَإِن
كَانَ
لَكُمْ
كَيْدٌۭ
فَكِيدُونِ
ﲨ
If you have any plots against Me, try them now.’
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:40
وَيْلٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
ﲬ
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:41
إِنَّ
ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
فِى
ظِلَـٰلٍۢ
وَعُيُونٍۢ
ﲲ
But those who took heed of God will enjoy cool shade, springs,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:42
وَفَوَٰكِهَ
مِمَّا
يَشْتَهُونَ
ﲶ
and any fruit they desire;
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:43
كُلُوا۟
وَٱشْرَبُوا۟
هَنِيٓـًٔۢا
بِمَا
كُنتُمْ
تَعْمَلُونَ
ﲽ
[they will be told], ‘Eat and drink to your hearts’ content as a reward for your deeds:

77:44
إِنَّا
كَذَٰلِكَ
نَجْزِى
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
ﳂ
this is how We reward those who do good.’
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:45
وَيْلٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
ﳆ
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:46
كُلُوا۟
وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟
قَلِيلًا
إِنَّكُم
مُّجْرِمُونَ
ﳌ
[You may] eat and enjoy yourselves for a short while, evildoers that you are.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:47
وَيْلٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
ﳐ
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:48
وَإِذَا
قِيلَ
لَهُمُ
ٱرْكَعُوا۟
لَا
يَرْكَعُونَ
ﳗ
When they are told, ‘Bow down in prayer,’ they do not do so.
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:49
وَيْلٌۭ
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
ﳛ
Woe, on that Day, to those who denied the truth!
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
77:50
فَبِأَىِّ
حَدِيثٍۭ
بَعْدَهُۥ
يُؤْمِنُونَ
ﳠ
In what revelation, after this, will they believe?
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
