111:1
تَبَّتْ
يَدَآ
أَبِى
لَهَبٍۢ
وَتَبَّ
ﱽ
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined! May he be ruined too!

111:2
مَآ
أَغْنَىٰ
عَنْهُ
مَالُهُۥ
وَمَا
كَسَبَ
ﲄ
Neither his wealth nor his gains will help him:

111:3
سَيَصْلَىٰ
نَارًۭا
ذَاتَ
لَهَبٍۢ
ﲉ
he will burn in the Flaming Fire––

111:4
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ
حَمَّالَةَ
ٱلْحَطَبِ
ﲍ
and so will his wife, the firewood-carrier,
M.A.S. Abdel Haleem
111:5
فِى
جِيدِهَا
حَبْلٌۭ
مِّن
مَّسَدٍۭ
ﲓ
with a palm-fibre rope around her neck.
